About the project
The composite was a project at RMIT. The purpose was to demonstrate compositing skills by creating a composite based on four images presented under the theme 'isolation'. The challenge was to create a believable and compelling composite with a good story.
How
When I saw the image by Igor Miske on unsplash.com with the man looking at a piece of art, I immediately sensed a story about isolation. The man is isolated not only outside, but also inside the frame. Isolation is also emphasised by the house in an isolated landscape. I used photoshop to create the composite and images from unsplash.com. Additionally, I made a short film to visualise how I created the composite.
